Six bottles of Saperavi, Georgia's flagship red and the wine that built the Ikano name. Two distinct expressions, drawn from our estate in Kakheti.

The Saperavi 2020 is bold, deep, and unmistakably Georgian. Aged in 100% French oak, it carries the dark fruit Saperavi is known for: ripe blackberry, black cherry, and earthy spice, softened by a gentle whisper of cocoa and tobacco.

The Saperavi 2014 (Friends Cellar) is a quieter, more contemplative pour. Held back from our private reserve, six years of bottle age have rounded the edges and deepened the wine into something rare. A bottle for the moment that calls for it.

Two Saperavis, six years apart, for the lover of bold reds.

  • Our Place

Ikano Estates emphasizes organic farming, nurturing the land without synthetic chemicals, which enhances the natural
expression of Georgia’s rich soils and favorable climate.

This sustainable approach, combined with the unique terroir, infuses their wines with distinct, earthy flavors unique to Georgia.

  • Our Grapes

At Ikano Estate, we prioritize native Georgian grape varieties such as Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, and Kisi, which have been cultivated in the region for centuries.

These grapes contribute to wines that are distinctively Georgian in profile, offering a rare experience for wine
enthusiasts looking to explore the country's rich heritage.

  • Our Traditions

Qvevri ageing is a traditional Georgian winemaking process that involves fermenting and aging wine in large, egg-shaped
    clay vessels buried underground.

This method has been used for thousands of years and is now recognized as part of Georgia's intangible cultural
    heritage.
